I am a high school student myself and have taken chemistry and ap chemistry finishing with an A. This has set my mind to helping other students who struggle in this type of science. Positive reencouragment, patience, and going by step by step to solve a problem is important, and a successful way to teach students how to learn.
Teaching students and watching units click with them is one of the best feelings for a tutor and a student. I have tutored family and friends before and watching them stressed out in the beginning of the lesson to happy and confident at the end; which is the ultimate goal we would love to achieve.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will evaluate on what they know, and see things we need improvement on. It is important to see their strong suits and weak ones so we could work to build on the topics a student struggles with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a high school student, and have taken chemistry, which i achieved an A in. I am now in my second year of chemistry in a AP course

I charge $60 an hour for online and phone. $70 to travel to your home
