I always like to get to know my students first, build a relationship. Know what they like or dislike about a certain subject. Then I want to know what they can do with the certain subject at hand and then what is troubling them and what I can do to help. I like to take it a step at a time and take it slow. 

I am a state certified teacher and have been teaching 5 + years. I have taught 2 years in 5th grade, 1 year in 1st grade and currently been teaching 2nd grade. I have recently finished the required Read Act class for reading with the state of Colorado.
