What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get To know my students when I begin working with him. I think this helps them feel more comfortable and safe when they are working skills out of their comfort zone specifically learning any language. I like to ask some basic questions in English and in Spanish to understand what their goals are, with their skill level is, and if there are specific skills I see that need improvement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Spanish and a Masters degree in education. I have eight years of teaching experience in the classroom. Throughout the years I have tutored several former students.
