Mathnasium Of Littleton
About
Unlike traditional tutors, our focus is on identifying any gaps struggling math students have and addressing those with proprietary curriculum. We build a solid foundation of number sense and help the children understand the concepts, not just memorize the algorithm. As a former classroom teacher with a masters degree in education, this is by far THE BEST math program I have ever worked with! We see our students' confidence and skills improve exponentially.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start all new students with an in-depth, diagnostic math assessment to determine what they know and what concepts they are struggling with. Then we create a completely customized learning plan tailored to each child's needs and goals. We continually re-assess and add or take away material as needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am master certified with Mathnasium which means I have more than 3500 hours of training in the Mathnasium method. I also hold a Masters Degree in Education and was a classroom teacher.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Because everything we do is so customized, it is impossible to put accurate prices here. We offer everything from once per week homework help and enrichment for kids who are advanced to completely private instruction. Most of our students attend 2-3 times per week, and our rates range from $28-65 / hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching all my life! I love teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
Kindergarten through adult, struggling to advanced. Our program works ideally for struggling students as well as advanced students who want to get further ahead or go deeper into the subject of math.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a tutor in your area of expertise?
Come into Mathnasium and take the free assessment. There is no obligation and at the very least you will have a much better understanding of where your child is at regarding math.
