Learning Foundations

Our nine year old has an awesome connection with her Academic Coach who not only teaches her the skills she needs, but also makes her feel more confident and capable. We have seen big changes in her academically and beyond!

Both my children agree that their coach is not only capable, but also highly skilled and very easy to be around. She has a strong mastery of ACT / SAT test preparation techniques, and my kids enjoy going to Learning Foundations each week!

My daughter has dyslexia. We discovered Learning Foundations when she was fairly young, and she was having trouble catching up with her speech abilities, leading to challenges for her in reading. We looked at several different resources for help, and the schools did not provide as much assistance as we would have liked. Even through dyslexia foundations, it did not feel like we were part of a community. We found Learning Foundations early on, and our daughter began academic coaching twice a week. This is our third year with Learning Foundations, and she is now a straight A student and has been one for awhile now. She has developed routine skills, not only in reading and writing but also in mathematics, by learning new study habits. These are abilities that Learning Foundations has taught her that she will be able to carry with her for the rest of her life.

Learning Foundations has tremendously impacted our lives. As a parent with two children that have learning disabilities, we came to Learning Foundations several years ago because our kids were reading three grade levels below what was expected. Not only did our children learn how to apply different learning techniques and strategies to grow as academic scholars, but it was through Learning Foundations’ compassion and kindness that we were able to see our kids grow as students and connect with their teachers to be successful. The Learning Foundations summer programs and weekly tutoring were other avenues where our children learned how to advocate for themselves. All of Learning Foundations’ love and kindness has really changed our lives and our family unit. Thank you Learning Foundations for all that you do.
