Cindy Lewis

My name is Cindy Lewis, call me Cindy. I was a teacher for 39 years and have taught in almost every setting—in person and online as well as a hybrid of the two. I taught from preschool through 12 th grade in my experience and have taught every subject except the advanced maths at the high school level. My most recent experience was online and I developed skills in using online platforms for student success. I have heavy experience working in individual situations as I spent time in tutoring situations, through individual, school and Sylvan settings. I have heavy experience working with special needs and am certified in special education, elementary education and middle and high school science and English. I love working with students and having fun at the same time. I will be doing all tutoring online at this time due to family illness, but may have the option of some in person tutoring later. I am proficient in identifying student needs and gaps and writing individual learning plans. I believe in student involvement and accountability in developing their plan of education and look for student input on what they feel they need to be successful. I definitely know that all students can be successful—although at different rates and ways of learning!
