About
I am a Special Education/English High School Teacher, and mother of 2. I teach English/SED for students with social-emotional disorders and Autism. I've taught for 11 years, am certified in English/Language Arts, and have a Master's Degree in Special Ed. K-12 from UNC. During this time of so much remote learning, and working from home, I'm aware of the rare needs we now have. I am hoping my experience, and my flexibility, can help a family/student needing assistance!. I'm loyal with following COVID guidelines, am vaccinated, and prefer working for those who do as well if I'm-person. I am flexible in regards to where you prefer (online or meet). I'm available after 3pm M-F and open to some weekend shifts. After May 27th, I'll have more availability M-F as I have summer vacation like most districts.
Feel free to message me and let's see if we can make it work!
I love helping prepare developing minds for life; helping others understand the power of knowledge is very fulfilling.
