About
Hello my name is Marielle. I am a motivated and reliable young woman. I was raised and born in the Ivory Coast, a frech-spoken country where I graduated from a French High School. My hard work helps me graduate from the Colorado School of Mines with one Bachlor Degree and three Master Degree, one of them I got it in France. Upon graduation, I worked for an Oil and Gas Company. Despite my busy schedule, I have always strive to motivate the youth by participating in empowerment workshops. Those event allow me to be a role model and tutor/mentor by testimonies especially helping people learn my first language. Sharing my knowledge and passion is one of my greatest pleasure in life.

I like seeing the progress and evolution of my students, teach the language and share some cultural knowledge that I have .

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do not have a typical way to approcah students. Every students are different. I do like to get to know the student, know his/her goals and what method he feels more comfortable with. I will make suggestions based on my experience and what I think will be more efficient for the student but I am very flexible and will adapt .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
French is my first language. I was raised and born in the Ivory Coast. I graduated from a French High School in Ivory Coast. I got three Master and one of them is from a School in France, Institut Francais de Petrol.

How did you get started teaching?
I used to help my little brother with his homework when we were younger, so I like to say that my teaching skills started 15 years. In a more professional level, I have started tutoring/mentoring about 8 years when in a community college where I was helping new international students with homework and any questions or concerns they have .
