Conceptual Math Tutoring

I have spent most of my professional life both coaching students and setting goals and creating the plans to get them there. I interned teaching full-immersion foreign language classes throughout high school and received a certification in TEFL. I also studied linguistics briefly in college and plan on returning. After this, I moved to a bilingual school in Denver and worked with teachers to create an environment for students to learn math to the best of their potential. I taught pull-out groups as well as full classes and tutoring for up to 10 kids at a time.

I really enjoy seeing students develop confidence. It is very rewarding as I know it will carry into different areas of life. I also enjoy seeing students be able to think differently and more creatively about what they're learning.
