ABOUT: I work in Denver as a public defender representing indigent individuals charged with crimes in Colorado. I graduated from Yale Law School in 2018 with my JD and worked for two federal judges: one on The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and one on The United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. In both positions, I reviewed parties' briefings and advised on case rulings. I also drafted over a dozen legal opinions. After two years of clerking, I moved to Colorado to become a public defender. I read and write constantly in my job and am read extensively in Classical Literature, Modern Fiction, and Op/Eds and Essays. As for tutoring experience: I tutored middle schoolers in English grammar in college. In law school, I was a teaching fellow with the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project in which capacity I taught basic constitutional law and oral advocacy skills to students. I also was a TA for Civil Procedure, a first-year course. Hopefully, I can help you!
