I am a ceritified 6-12 Math Tecaher in the State of Colorado. I have taught both middle school and high school math. I excell at catching students up and pushing excelerated students forward by differeientiating the instruction. My 10th grade students scored the highest in the district on the PSAT10. I love to make math and "make sense" even with the most complicated concepts.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We dive right into math :) I can make math easy to understand and fun at the same time.

I double majored in Mathematics and Secondary Education with a minor in Spanish at Clemson University.

How did you get started teaching?
I majored in education so I started teaching when I was 21.
What types of students have you worked with?
7th grade - 10th grade students. I have taught remedial and honors courses.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I taught high school last year but now stay at home with my newborn twins. My students are still texting me to catch up and to ask for math riddles because they are bored at home :D
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do not stress about math class. Math can be hard and math teachers tend to give a lot of quizzes and tests becaus ethey want to know if the students are mastering the skills. This can be very stressful for students. Hire a tutor that can help you one on one!
