Hi everyone! My name is Madeline Barbeau, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with a license (Massachusetts license issued in July) in special education and degrees in Mild to Moderate Disabilities and English Language Arts. I am offering summer tutoring for students who may benefit from individualized reading and literacy support.

I have training in:

• Wilson Reading System

• Orton-Gillingham Approach

• Special Education reading intervention strategies

• Supporting students with learning disabilities and diverse learning needs

I have worked with students in elementary and middle school and can provide:

- Reading intervention

- Phonics & decoding support

- Fluency & comprehension practice

- Writing support

- Confidence-building academic support

I currently teach in reading intervention and co-taught ELA classrooms and have experience working one-on-one with students with diverse disabilities.
