Our name is Boomerang English because when it comes to life and academics, you get out what you put into it! We work hard to make sure the student learns skills that will transfer to conquering future challenges as well as today's homework assignment. We don't just give you the answers, but teach you how to find the answers, encouraging independence. And like a boomerang, the efforts you put in now will return to you in the growth and success that you will see!
I love watching the light bulb moments where the students start to understand and grow passionate about the work they are doing!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Building a relationship of trust is important to me and getting a sense of what the student us interested in can help the tutoring process! Having the student explain the assignment to me and their initial thoughts and concerns gives us a great place to start where we are both on the same page.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors Degree in English Lit
