About
I am a writer of Indian origin and a diasporic hybrid raised in six countries on four continents. I combine the breadth and depth of my professional and personal experiences with a deep love for a wide range of reading, writing and listening practices. I have worked with students and writers of all ages and abilities from around the world, so I know very well how to plan, collaborate and make adjustments as needs and perspectives change.
You can see a selected list of my publications, awards, talks, etc. on my website.
- Sharing my love of language, especially the written word
- Learning from my students/clients
- Helping students realize that they are capable of far more than they may have imagined

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing depends on the nature of the tutoring and the amount of preparatory work required of me for each lesson. Therefore, the price of an hour-long lesson ranges from $30 to $100.
I am happy to offer a sliding scale for low-income and otherwise marginalized students/families.
