I am an adjunct professor of Biology at two different universities in Denver, as well as an enviornmental scientist at an engineering firm. I love science and love teaching! I graduated with a Masters in Biology in 2016 so I am not that far out of school and can relate to students well. I know what you are going through and am here to help!
I love sharing my passion of science. Biology is the study of life! How cool is that? I really enjoy when I can explain things in a way that makes sense to my students, it is the best feeling to help someone make something they think is hard, feel easy! Science is a skill and I can help you not only with the material but with study skills to help you suceed in all of your science courses.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Over zoom or in person, we would do an initial meeting to see the areas they need help and their learning style, then we would begin booking tutoring sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Environmental Science and a Masters of Science in Environmental Biology. I also have taught Biology at a university level for six semesters.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching after graduate school. I started teaching Biology labs and then moved on to lectures.
What types of students have you worked with?
High school and college, but am great with kids as well and could tutor younger students.
