About
Our purpose is to see young women and men develop a deep sense of confidence in who they are—education is merely the medium we use to do this. When students fail to perform at their natural ability level there are likely a number of factors contributing to this discouraging cycle. We approach education as a mentoring relationship between friends, and we are committed to developing you or your child as a whole person. If you, or your child, are struggling academically you are not alone and we look forward to connecting with you further!
After over a decade of working in the non-profit sector, doing community development, and one-on-one intensive life coaching our team settled down in Denver. Thrive was founded out of a desire to help students who have lost confidence in themselves. It is our vision and belief that every student has legitimate reasons for why they are struggling in the classroom. Our tutors and coaches help students become aware of their capabilities, available resources, and how to overcome the problems they are facing.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In the initial stages, we like to get to know students through a short interview over a cup of coffee or on the phone. This is a mutual interview of sorts, so our tutor and student can get to know one another and see if there is a good fit. From there, the tutor will develop a custom schedule and plan to fit the student's desired outcomes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has a variety of professional qualifications. We try to match tutors with students based on the appropriate qualifications for each students needs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the type of service and the experience of the tutor, sessions will range from $70 to $90 an hour. No fees are charged for prep time or drive time. Occasionally, a student may need a large amount of assistance for a specific amount of time; in these cases, a monthly contract would be developed to decrease the hourly rate for the student.
