Hi, students. I would love to help you work through your challenges with math and improve your grades. I know it's been a hard year, and you may have missed a lot of classes due to COVID. But we can catch up quickly and even get ahead! I have been teaching and tutoring math for many years and I can definitely help you.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I interview the student and parent to get the student's history with math. For example, has the student changed schools frequently or missed school? Then I may give a skills test to see where the student has gaps in knowledge. Wherever possible, I get information about the school's curriculum and the math teacher's email. We set up times to meet when the student isn't overly tired. I also allow students to text me math problems for quick help on sticky problems.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in education with a minor in math. I have a credential in education in the state of California, and a license to teach in Colorado.
