About
I began this school year teaching 24 students in a completely online format. I have online teaching tools and experience, and I can empathize with how the obstacles of this year can make it difficult for children to learn in school. I want to supplement children's learning to help them succeed!
I love helping students realize they can achieve anything, no matter how far behind they feel. I also really enjoy showing students that there are other ways to practice skills rather than how they are made to learn in school. Learning is not one size fits all, that's why I love 1 on 1 teaching!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I will first get to know them and find out what their strengths, goals, interests, and needs are. I will assess their current skills in the area of need, then carefully craft a plan for instructions that targets exactly what they need in an authentic way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified teacher with my license in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education with an endorsement in Elementary Education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$25/hour
How did you get started teaching?
I graduated in May 2020 from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and started teaching in my own classroom this fall. I now work as a Special Education paraprofessional because I love working 1 on 1 with students with diverse needs to help them access their classroom's general curriculum.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ages 3-8 years old in a school setting and childcare setting.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Before starting tutoring, make sure to have an "I can do it" attitude. This way, your brain can really grow from the strategies we use together. You have to be willing to fail and be ok with it. You got this!
