I've been a science educator for most of my professional career, teaching middle and high school science in both independent and public schools. I work in support of students and their teachers to bolster understanding, test taking skills, homework/labwork support, etc.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My tutoring process is highly individualized. We will start with discussing goals, what has worked for the student, what hasn't and we'll come up with a plan for success. I've taught science at many levels (middle school, high school and college) and have worked with a wide range of students.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20+ years of teaching/tutoring experience, A BA and MS in Biology, and a Professional Teacher's License.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50 per hour for online tutoring, a bit more if I am traveling to you. This covers the time I spend tutoring and any prep time. I will also send a summary of what we covered and additional resources for review and practice.
