I have worked in 5 different professions in the US and overseas to include Information Technology (IT), Logistics, Restaurants, Mortgage & Insurance, and Education for the past 20 years.
I have working knowledge in languages such as English, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My teaching method is very much student-centered. I cater to what the student's needs are and make customized lessons for each individual student.
I also offer the following services:

My hourly rate is $30/hour
I also offer "package" pricing at:
For 5 hours = $140
For 10 hours = $280
How did you get started teaching?
I've been teaching English in South Korea for the past 13 years. I love it so much that I pursued and graduated with both my MA and Ph.D. degrees.
What types of students have you worked with?
For the past 13 years, I have taught at all levels (i.e. primary, secondary and tertiary levels, as well as, working professionals in their respective fields (doctors, businessman, etc.).
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Teaching online has been a new shift in my teaching career. I enjoy the one-to-one interaction. I also enjoy teaching groups, as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I'm a very friendly teacher and I am a good listener when it comes to catering to each individual student's needs. This is a very important skill to have in order to create customized lessons to reach each student's goals in their learning.
My lessons will always revolve around each student's needs and I always keep their goals in my when I create lessons for them.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I will have a ton of questions for you when you meet for the first time. I do this so that I can better understand your needs and how I can help you to achieve them.
I always encourage students to come to the first meeting with lots of questions for me, as well. I believe in two-way communications at all times.
