What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to guage the proficiency of new students by starting the first session with a conversation about their experience with the language, how much they have studied, and what their problems are, in order to personalize a program together. From there, we work on challenging but rewarding tasks, whether these are homework or my own curated materials.
