Hannah LaDow Spanish Tutoring
About
¡Hola! ¡Me llamo Hannah! ¡Me encanta el español! I love Spanish! I have studied Spanish for over 10 years in school and via various study abroad experiences. I graduated in 2016 from University of Colorado Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish (as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology). I have a passion for expanding my knowledge of the language and las culturas hispanohablantes, as well as for sharing my knowledge with others. I have found that the best way to learn and to reinforce one's learning is to teach others, and I also love helping other students and encouraging their interest in the language. And this is why I decided to become a tutor! I look forward to helping you master subject-verb agreement, get rid of your gringo accent, or even conquer the ever-popular subjunctive! Feel free to find me on LinkedIn and Facebook! I look forward to meeting with you soon! ¡Hasta pronto!

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is somewhat flexible, based on a student's needs, as well as those of his or her family.
What questions should students think through before talking to tutors about their needs?
Before talking to your Spanish tutor, I suggest you identify the two or three areas of learning the language that you struggle with most. Do you have trouble with gender-adjective agreement? Conjugating verbs? Ser vs. estar? Por vs. para? When to use the subjunctive? If you are able to narrow your focus to two or three specific topics, it will make your tutoring sessions easier and more effective.
