Jane O'Leary

I have a teaching degree in early childhood education and have been a private tutor for over 20 years. At one point in my career, I was a private tutor for a student that had Down’s Syndrome and was able to teach her successfully to read at a 5th grade level. I’m currently working with students from 1st to 5th grade teaching all subjects. My method is to discover and, if possible, provide the same materials that the teacher is using to keep the student a lesson ahead. This allows the student to learn more when hearing the information in the classroom. I am in close contact with the parents to provide feedback. My goal is to have the students feel confident in the classroom!
