About
My service stands out because I truly love what I do. I have a Master's Degree in Secondary Mathematics Teaching from Denver University. I have three years of experience in the class room and ten years of experience tutoring. I have worked in preschools to colleges and worked with a wide variety of students including those with special needs, learning disabilities, or are classified as gifted. Because I have a wide variety of tutoring/teaching experience and a passion for what I do, my number one priority is to make our tutoring session the best, most comfortable learning experience. I am best at increasing content understanding and building math confidence.
My favorite aspect about tutoring is getting to meet the student's needs. In a classroom it can be challenging to meet everyone's needs at the same time. However, with tutoring it can be tailored to exactly what the student wants and needs. It is so much fun as a students begins to understand something that has been challenging for them in the past. The personal growth and academic achievement that students can achieve with a little assistance and patience is really rewarding for me to see.
