Spanish Tutoring - Level 1-AP
About
Hello everyone! My name is Adeline Damron and I am in my last year at the University of Colorado Boulder, studying Spanish and Secondary Education to become a Spanish Teacher. I love helping people explore the Spanish language, as it opens up multiple opportunities to communicate with diverse cultures and communities. I am currently tutoring college level Spanish and in the year 2020 I student taught in middle school Spanish classroom. My Spanish oral proficieny is also certified by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages as Advanced Low, meaning I am able to communicate in well-rounded conversations with native Spanish speakers.
Even the smallest bit of knowledge of a foreign language can open so many doors for you, which is why I am so passionate about teaching Spanish! No matter what level you would like to learn, I am happy to help. I love working with people and teaching directed specifically around the individuals goals and objectives, so we can learn and grow together.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to initially start out my sessions by identifying and discussing the students objectives. It's important to me that I understand what my student would like to accomplish when learning the spanish language, so I can help them in the ways that they need. After taking note of their goals, I will make a plan for how we can discuss specific topics together and how I can teach the student in the best ways for that individual.
