About

At MultiSense Tutoring, I provide Orton-Gillingham based one-on-one tutoring services to struggling readers of all ages.

After conducting an informal assessment of skills, I design customized lesson plans based on your child's individual needs and goals.

I have 5 years of teaching experience both in-person and online. I am a patient tutor and care deeply about my students and their growth. I strive everyday to help each student overcome their own personal challenges and become more confident in and out of the classroom.

Frequently asked questions

During our first several sessions, we will take time to get to know eachother better. I will conduct some informal assessments to judge where exactly the student needs work, and where their strengths are. Every lesson thereafter will be based on the student's individual needs and growth.

I have completed the Orton-GIllingham associate training and have been using this method with students struggling with dyslexia for over a year.

I am currectly completing the Orton-GIllingham associate practicum under the guidance of an Academy fellow.

I have 5 years of experience teaching ESL in the classroom and online.

my fee is $60 per 50 minute session.

My teaching journey began when I accepted a job as an English teacher in rural Spain. I taught there for two school semesters. After that I began teaching ESL online and traveling full time. I moved to Thailand and later Bali, and visited numerous other countries. When the COVID pandemic brought me back home, I was inspired by my mother (an ocupational therapist) to begin specializing in working with children with disabilities. I began my Orton-Gillingham training and building my own business here in Colorado a year ago.

I have worked with students age 3 - 17. After starting my Orton-Gillingham training I have also worked with students with dyslexia, dysgraphis, ADHD, and ASD.

Seeing a student grow from being unable to read words like "bug" or "win" to reading short stories and confidently answering comprehension questions.
