About
My goal after every interraction is to leave that person in a better position than before. I have always enjoyed learning, challenging myself consistently with a variety of experience from banking, a pre-k teacher, and an insurance adjuster. I was the oldest of two, tutoring unofficially since my childhood. I earned a BBA from the University of Texas at El Paso (2011) and a MBA from the University of Dallas (2019). I am responsible and responsive, a true passion for learning. Please reach out with any questions or concerns, I look forward to having fun while learning!
Mentoring others and watching them grow is very rewarding to me and I take pride in my work, which will be supported by the results.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The initial interaction would be primarily to build rapport and trust. I would like to get to know the person I am tutoring, observe how they learn best as everyone has different learning styles.
I would then review past homework, grades, any information which will provide support for a baseline, where we are starting to be able to measure growth from that point on.
In addition, I would like their classroom learning schedule/homework schdule to be able to prepare in advance and optimize the time I have with the person I am tutoring.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every professional role I have been in since I began working I eventually would become a mentor, assisting with onboarding new hires successfully.
I was a student intern for a summer and a teacher for half a school year. While I was an intern, we completed an intense one month progam which led to teaching in an actual classroom on your own after that month. During my tenure as a teacher, I prepared lesson plans and attended a variety of workshops to continue developing my skills. The reviews completed by the school's principal were rated outstanding.
