About
Our team has been tutoring in various subjects at all levels for several years. We are comprised of licensed teachers, content experts, and many other highly qualified educators. We can help students of all ages in any subject through academic coaching, content tutoring, and standardized test prep.
We’re be able to meet with you in person wherever you’d like, whether it be a library, your place, a local coffee shop, or online through our digital whiteboard, where we annotate documents and dialogue with students in real-time, just like in person.
Regarding scheduling, we recommend booking week to week to accommodate everyone’s busy schedule, but we are happy to set a consistent timeframe if you have one in mind.
For pricing, if you go through our k-12 grant program, the tutoring is FREE, as we’ve partnered with the Shane Thurston Foundation to offer a grant that enables students to use our tutoring services at no cost. Processing time is usually a couple of weeks for the grant, though we’re happy to retroactively credit your hourly balance once the award (5 hours) is granted. Students can earn up to four grants (20 hours) per calendar year.
If you don’t want to pursue free tutoring through the grant, we are currently offering discounted bulk packages or the flexibility of paying session by session. We offer our first session risk-free, so you only pay if you are satisfied and think it’s a good fit. We also offer group & military discounts on top of that!

We provide immediate, detailed, and specific feedback to you during tutoring sessions, using curriculum from your school, curriculum we have developed, or any other resources that may apply (College Board, textbooks, etc.). We will ensure to diagnose what your strengths and weaknesses are, and help you develop the studying and test taking strategies that best align with how you work, empowering you to perform with confidence.

How did you get started teaching?
Our founder Cris started tutoring in 2013 for North Central College, where he was a student and football player. He tutored Physics and Math to his peers, ranging from Calculus to Differential Equations and Newtonian Mechanics to Quantum Theory. He eventually branched out to tutor to students in the local area, focusing on STEM, general homework help, studying for assessments, and working on life-skills. He brought his expertise back to the Denver Metro Area, where he grew up, and has grown the tutoring team to include over 30 content and instructional experts.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with a wide range of students in a wide range of topics, ranging from 3rd Grade Math all the way up to College Level Physics. We have also tutored students with ADHD and similar executive function deficits, ensuring to differentiate instruction to keep students engaged through Socratic questioning, kinesthetic learning, and more. We have also worked with highly successful students and valedictorians seeking to maximize their SAT score to earn merit based scholarships and gain entry into prestigious universities such as Duke and Brown. In short, we have worked with all kinds of students from all ages in all subjects, and are equipped to support every student in need of support.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently helped a student prepare for the SAT, helping her maximize her score to earn entry into her dream college and also earn scholarship money. We used the College Board practice tests and targeted instruction to help identify areas to improve, teach techniques to properly manage time, simulate taking the test, and develop strategies for each section and question type. This took about two months of work over the summer, around 10 sessions total where we met once a week. Her scores jumped by over 120 points!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Work with someone dedicated to helping you meet your specific needs and goals in an efficient way, while also developing student autonomy. The best teachers and tutors don’t let students rely on them, but instead teach them how to think, solve problems, study well, and how to learn best.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Have you had experience teaching someone similar to my student? How will you build trust and rapport with my student? How can I ensure you are reliable and can meet my needs?
