I am a recent graduate from the University of California, San Diego with a Masters Degree in Biology. I have previous experience working at various medical device companies and have conducted over 4 years of research in a plant Biology lab. I have student taught 6th grade, high school students and college friends. I am enthusastic and encouraging with all students I work with! My goal as a tutor is, not only for students and parents to see tangible results, but for students to feel confident and excited about learning!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I love to help students better understand the subject they need some extra help on. First off, I like to ask a couple questions to understand the level of understanding the student has on the subject. From there, we can focus more on what is troubeling.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors and Master's of Science in Biology. I have tutored students K-12 during my time in high school, college friends and students during my undergrad education. Now, I just help family and friends with any extra support they need.
