Korean Tutoring

My name is Jay Youn, I'm 26 years old and I have been teaching Korean for 5 years. My lessons are always customized to each student I teach. I always begin with a short lesson to assess the students' needs and goals and discuss how best we can achieve those goals together. I will then design a curriculum plan that will best help the student achieve their language targets. I have materials for every kind of language learner and every English language level. I always aim to make the lessons as fun and engaging as I can while also making sure the student is effectively learning the skills they need to succeed and progress.

• Privately tutored students for past 5 years with any level – beginners to advanced learners using variety materials (vocabularies, word cards, reading and writing exercises with example scripts, passages, creative writing, etc.)

• Created some situation in our imagination, and found out how to express in that situation in Korea (for example, how about at the bank, at the mall, at the blind dating etc.)

• Encouraged students to explore and had fun with Korean through developed practical curriculums that cater to adult students’ ability and learning style
