French Tutor
About
I am a native French speaker, with tutoring experience and a master's degree in translation. I really enjoy languages and thinking about the way they are learned. I do believe that it is easier to learn a language by hearing and practicing it and I would try, depending on the level of the student, to do most of the lessons in French. Only use English if necessary.
French is a hard language to learn, but it is also very pretty and fun. I hope to share my language and my culture with students who are (hopefully) interested and eager to learn.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first class can be either 30 minutes or an hour long and would consist in getting to know the student, assessing their level in French, their expectations and needs, as well as discussing the best way to get them interested and motivated.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to studying languages and linguistics, I have experience tutoring students one-on-one and in small groups. I worked in a language school for a year in Paris while getting my master's degree.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The starting price would be $50. Depending on the level of the student and therefore the amount of time needed to prepare each lesson, the price might increase.
