About
We are recent UCSB and UCLA graduates who specialize in tutoring elementary and middle school students in all areas of study. For the last 5+ years, I have helped students with their admission into prestigious middle and high schools.
Ethos: Our style of teaching is centered around collaboration and mutual respect. To encourage and sustain a zest for learning, students should feel as though I am a peer and supportive partner in their intellectual pursuits.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I assess the personality, needs and goals of the student to accurately asses the style of instruction that should be administered. In my introduction, I make it clear that they are a partner in learning, not a subordinate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a UCSB graduate and tutor for 3+ years, I understand the demands of attaining a quality education and am prepared to point students in the right direction with patience and understanding.

General Tutoring: 45$/hour
ISEE/SSAT Tutoring
- Primary/Lower: 50$/hour
- Middle/Upper: 60$/hour
How did you get started teaching?
I originally began tutoring my cousin in all areas of 8th grade subjects including ISEE. Tutoring quickly became a passion and I could not get enough of it.
