Currently a practicing mechanical engineer in the fields of Energy Generation, HVAC, and MEP with a passion for teaching.
I'm motivated to help the next generation of engineers & scientists and have been offering tutoring services in mathematics/physics for a combined 6 years (3 yrs in college and 3 privately). I enjoy making difficult subjects more accessible and helping people build confidence in their own capabilities with math/science.
Most recently, I have taught high school level mathematics, introductory & advanced calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and upper division physics/engineering.

Currently a senior at Cal Poly Pomona studying Mechanical Engineering, I have worked as a mathematics/physics/engineering tutor for a combined 5+ years; 3 years in a college STEM learning center and 3 years privately. Yes my base rate is $50/hr
What types of students have you worked with?
At my college and in my private tutoring, I've had the opportunity to work with students as young as middle and elementary school all the way up to working adults that are returning for a second degree. My campus was also the closest college to the Camp Pendelton Military Base, so I had the opportunity to study with and tutor many members of our military personnel, many of which were striving for degrees in the scientific fields post their military career.
