I love to meet people of diffferent backgournds and cultures who I interact with. The students are the only ones not learning, for I learn from them also. I love teaching and I will do my best to accommodate the student's needs. I have an Associate's Degree from Ventura College and I have taken Honors and Advanced courses in English in high shcool.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find out what the student wants to learn and I give them a lesson on that topic. Or, if they don't know, I can provide topics for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Assoicate's Degree in General Education from Ventura College.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching guitar many years ago. I only taught for a few years, which was enjoyable.
What types of students have you worked with?
I 've taught people of all ages. I once had a 70 year-old student.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for teachers that are friendly, committed, easy to get along with and enthusiastic.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What students should think about, is what they want to learn and what they need help with and then tell their teacher.
