Brilliant Writing Tutoring
About
I have always loved reading and writing so I love to see others be able to have that same love when the concept is put into a new light so that they understand it.
I love working with students who feel frustrated with their work or feel they may be behind because they too deserve to have a clear understanding of their work and enjoy what they are doing. I have experience with students with ADHD so I can work with the student's pace to keep them focused and help them complete their work on time.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student it is very important that they are comfortable with the teacher and their enviroment otherwise it will be difficult to learn. I get to know the student first and help them feel like they have someone on their team during their learning process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a high school diploma and I am currently majoring in Political Science. I will be double majoring in Political Science and English when I transfer to a university.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My minimum is $20 an hour but negotiations can be made because every student deserves a love of learning regardless of financial situations.
How did you get started teaching?
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was little but I started tutoring my junior year of high school. I would tutor my friends for free and their grades would go from a C to an A within a week or two. My senior year I started tutoring middle schoolers as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Frustration is normal in the position of the student but do not give up because everyone's learning style is different and it depends on the teacher to accommodate to that.
