I have taught every grade level in math from Kindergarten to Freshmen year of college math. I understand where the student is coming from in math and what skills the student needs to attain to progress academically in math.
I enjoy building students up in the subject area of math.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Will review prior knowledge of student then will access where the student needs the most support in the subject matter of math.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering and I also hold a California State Teaching Credential in the Subject of Math.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$45 per 45 minutes AND $60 per 60 minute session.
How did you get started teaching?
I have received my teaching credential from Cal State University, East Bay 11 years ago.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with high acheiving students and also student that need extra support, math intervention students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event that I am fond of is the start of college and NFL football. It's just nice to see a group of individuals come together to acheive a common goal.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I am able to break large mathematical concepts into smaller more easier pieces to absord. You should hire me before my schedule fills up. Thanks!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
First, A student sholud always ask themselves what type of learner are they? Are they a visual learning, audio learner, OR a kinesthetic learning? It's important that students are taught in the way that they learn best.
Then, where do I need the most support and where do I need the less support?
Lastly, Where if in any place am I lacking confidence OR am I a bit nervous about a topic?
