Everyone has a light-bulb dangling over their head -- Selene's goal is their bulb shine bright. Selene is a fourth-year Finance and Entrepreneurship major with experience leading teams as the ASI Board of Directors Treasurer. Additionally, Selene served as a Resident Advisor and worked at the Mihaylo College Tutoring Center at CSUF while maintaining above a 3.8 GPA.
Selene hopes to encourage every student to adopt a growth mindset and to view education as a blessing. Whether you need help with Finance, Business Writing, or Management concepts, Selene is here to help.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It's important to establish rapport with students so they feel comfortable and open to learning from a tutor. First, Selene's aims to build a trusting relationship with each student. Then, Selene will set SMART goals with your student and review them regularly. Lastly, Selene will have a lesson plan to ensure each student meets their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A former Resident Advisor, Selene was trained to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Selene has spent hundreds of hours working alongside students to ensure their success.
Additionally, Selene served as an ASI Board of Directors for two years. Selene's role as ASI Board of Directors Treasure required her to educate and inform the ASI Finance Committee on the campus-wide policy.
