Spanish is a beautiful language and widely used in Southern California. I would say it is the second most spoken language in United States. It is used at work, school and in our community.

Hola! My name is Yris, and I am a native speaker of Spanish (my first language). I am from Lima, Peru (South America). I have experience in teaching kids and adults of all ages.

My program includes basic, intermediate, advanced and college-level Spanish.

I completed my master's degree in Spanish and linguistic at Lima University in Lima, Peru and also in Los Angeles Harbor College (California, USA), and I also completed Academy At Home tutor certification.

My Experience:

I am a very funny, energetic, responsible and outgoing person. I have been teaching for 15 years and tutoring for individuals and groups. I have tutored English in my country and Spanish in the states.

I am dedicated to help my students improve and success. I use a variety of level-appropriate tutoring to engage the students and make learning fun!

My Goal:

I want to achieve with my students to succeed in Spanish understanding, listening, reading, writing and talking. Spanish is my strongest subject with really good results!

All my students will get free books, notebooks and worksheets; everything is included in my class; you don't have to spend any additional money.

For class hours, my schedule is very flexible.
