Hello! My name is Skylar and I am attending my last year at UCLA majoring in English, Japanese, and Korean. My studies are not only based on various languages and cultures, but I also focus on writing as well! I have taught in Japan seasonally through Waseda Middle and High school as well as Shinagawa Etoile Girls’ High School–teaching over 300 students. But I have also taught students ranging from first grade to college for both English and Korean as a native and foreign language. Just a fun fact, I played piano from a young age and also taught students as a piano coordinator helping out piano teachers in their lessons. When it comes to teaching, my method lies in tailoring to students' needs in words they understand where lessons stay implanted inside their heads. I hope to be your teacher very soon so we can learn together!
