About
Hi there!
I recently graduated from UCLA with a degree in Financial Actuarial Mathematics and a minor in Accounting. I've been tutoring for over 6 years now. Alongside my full-time job as a tax consultant, I've been helping kids from elementary to college levels. My main subjects are Math and English, but I'm also good with college-level accounting and economics. Why do I do this while working full-time? It's simple—I enjoy teaching and connecting with students. I find joy in giving back and helping students do well in their studies. My goal as a tutor isn't just to see better grades but also to help students discover their passion for learning and feel confident in their own way of learning. Looking forward to being your tutor!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will start with a brief introduction and figure out what they are struggling with. Learning styles of different students differ from one another as well. Therefore, I would try out different styles when teaching, and see which fits the students best.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tutoring little kids (3rd-4th grade) since I was a freshman in high school back in Jakarta, Indonesia. Math and English are my main subjects. However, I do teach science as well. Once I am in college, the range of students I teach had expanded to collegiate level. I have privately tutored several college students and high school students for over a year.
