I feel so honored when my students thank me for helping them not only understand hard to follow course material, but for successfully completing job interviews, being rewarded for great job performance, and for delivering on-point investor pitches. It is a privilege to help people using my experience gained from multiple advanced degrees; media and public speaking; and real problem solving in government, corporations, startup companies, and academia. I look forward to even more amazing conversation with students, faculty, and industry leaders like those that I’ve had while teaching at places such as California Miramar University, the Naval Postgraduate School, UCLA, UCSB, and Central Texas College. I remember watching teachers quickly writing math on the classroom board, without explaining what the math meant. As a result, we just copied what they did and then tried to do the same thing. After lots of math, advanced degrees, publishing papers, and applying math in the real world, math finally started to make sense.

I feel sooo good when students tell me that they can understand business, math, and science without going through all of the pain that I went through.
