About
I have been tutoring middle school students in math for 4 years and received a district award for contributing toward the efforts of increasing the school's average GPA by one whole point. As a UC Berkeley student, I am confident that I can help students improve their academic performance and help them reach a greater understanding of the world around them. Outside of tutoring, I run a nonprofit organization which teaches entrepreneurship to students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to ask the student which learning styles he or she prefers and I accomadate my lesson plans and explanations around that.

I like to be charged a minimum of $20 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I just joined a club in my school and starting tutoring through that. I enjoyed being able to interact with kids and helping them improve their academic performance.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students who come from undepriveleged communities as well as with students who are looking to learned advanced subjects ahead of their age.
