My name is Edith. I recently graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor's in Economics and Computer Science and will be returning to complete a Master's in Computer Science. I love working with high school students. I tutor many subjects (with specialties in Economics, Computer Science, Math, and English), offer test preparation tutoring for the SAT and ACT, and guide high school students through the college admissions process.

Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

My first session with a student is a 90-minute assessment. An hour is spent 1:1 with a student. This time is spent getting to know the student, understanding their strengths and weaknesses, working through a few example problems, and talking through their most recent assignments or tests.

The last half-hour is spent 1:1 with the parent. Here, I aim to understand parents' goals for the student and logistical details about how I can best work with the student in question.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated from Stanford University in June 2022 with a Bachelor's in Economics and a minor in Computer Science. I will be returning in fall of 2023 to complete a Master's of Computer Science at Stanford University.

I have tutored students over the past six years in all subjects as well as test preparation and college essay writing.
