About
I have a Master's of Education in Math Curriculum and Instruction. I have a bachelor's in math. I have a math and science credential. Currently, I work as a middle school teacher in Riverside, CA.
I provide tutoring for more than just math. I tutor science and for college entrance exams: ACT and SAT.
One of the things I enjoy most about the work I do is helping the student reach their AHA moment when all the material clicks. This is so rewarding to the student and myself as an educator.
I like to help the student use his or her interests in the subject they are receiving help because the student finds the help more relevant and important when their is a connection to their personal life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assess there current standing.
Start by covering the gaps from previous classes.
Work with students on current work.
Reassess every 2 weeks to see progress.
Work with student and teacher in current math class to retake exams or make up work.
