Maceo Coleman

A recent college graduate from California State University Northridge. I have taught middle school students reading and writing this past year as a long-term substitute teacher. During this time I was able to notice that every student learns in their own unique way, certain students prefer things on the surface served to them plainly and regularly. While others prefer more of a creative path that is not ordinary and pulls from anything that holds that students attention, as learning can involve multiple tools. Which is why forming relationships is important because without knowing how somebody learns it becomes impossible to teach them. From being a Speech & Debate coach in college, to recently substitute teaching, I will be able to use all methods and skills that I have learned on this path in order to help your student be the very best student they can be.
