Amanda Tutoring

I love social studies! But that wasn't always the case. I loathed the subject in high school. Then, in college, a few engaging teachers showed me how fun it could be to learn about the past. Now I'm hooked and my life's goal is to inspire as many students as I can by showing them how to master the subject so that they will enjoy it as much as I do.

I strongly believe that every opportunity I have to work with a student is a great privilege. Each unique relationship is based on mutual trust and respect. In the short term we are working towards a common goal - earning a good grade. Long term, however, I aim to instill a love of learning that can be applied to all subjects.
