Olivia's Tutoring

My name is Olivia Morrow and I am Senior (almost graduate!) at UC Santa Cruz, working toward my B.A in Psychology and B.A in Education. I am here to offer my tutoring services to any one who may need them! Obviously because of the pandemic, I am offering my services via Zoom. I have three years of in-classroom experience, helping students ages 8-15 in writing, reading, and math. My recent experience with children: - 6 months working with 3rd graders at Gault Elementary in all subjects - One summer working with incoming 1st graders at Camp Galileo, which focuses on art and science - 6 months working with preschool age children at Coastal Community Preschool in Santa Cruz - 3 months working with 8th grades students at Branciforte Middle School, with a focus on writing and poetry - 3 months (and currently) working with 9th grade students in an Algebra I class, at an alternative education high school in Santa Cruz.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I am working with a new student, trust is key. I want to build a fun learning environment, as well as ensure that the student is building on their academic knowledge!

I will graduate from UC Santa Cruz in June, 2021 with a B.A in Psychology and a B.A in Education.
