What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are high performing students with extensive history both tutoring and taking high level courses. We are well-versed in peer tutoring, and can bridge the gap between student and teacher by creating a confortable learning environment that fosters confidence and skill.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Each standard session is one hour long, $25 per session. Sessions with a focus on exam prep, such as for AP, SAT and ACT are also only $25 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
Kaleidoscope Tutoring began not with a goal, nor with a business plan. We just started out as two students with a passion and a common dream, volunteering in an after-school tutoring program at our high school. We loved teaching others and couldn't envision a future outside of a career as educators.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked in high school tutoring programs designed to help struggling students who either need additional assisrtence outside of the classroom, or find that a classroom environment is just not conducive to their learning.
