I graduated in 2015 from the University of St Andrews in Scotland with a masters in International Relations. I also studied French and Russian while at university. In 2015 I received my CELTA certification for teaching English as a Second Language. I taught English at the UCSC extension in Santa Clara until 2019. My classes focused on essay grammar, essay writing, rhetoric, and public speaking. I also have played the violin since the age of four, I compose music, I fence, and I dance tango. I am a high school graduate, and two year student at UCSC working towards a history degree. I have been training to become a history teacher, and have decided that I want to get experience with people hands on. I am skilled at a variety of topics, from U.S history to writing and even calculus. As someone who has passed all of their AP exams, and had an over 4.0 high school GPA, I also have a lot of experience with test taking and successful study strategies.
