About
I'm very good at math so I could easily help someone with their homework. I help my little sister with her math homework every day and she always gets the questions right.
I enjoy teaching people so that they won't have to struggle with their math homework. I rarely struggle with my math homework and when I do, I'm able to work my way through it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I introduce myself first and then I politely ask them to give me a brief "few words" of what they don't understand. Next, I'll begin the problem, from the start, with them and I break it down step by step for them. I'll constantly ask if they have questions and I always ask "Do you understand how I did that?" after each step. Lastly, I'll ask them if they have any other questions and then I'll politely thank them and end the call.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I frequently tutor my friends during school at nutrition, or recess, and lunch. Sometimes, I will stay after school to help them with chemistry homework and/or math homework. I hold study sessions every week with them so I can reteach them what they didn't understand and help them prepare for our tests.
How did you get started teaching?
I began when I would teach my little sister math to help her on her homework such as how to divide and multiply and different ways to use those operations. It then escalated to teaching some kids in my Arabic about nouns and verbs and when to use certain phrases and prefixes. I now tutor kids in my chemistry and Algebra 2 class as well as kids in lower math classes.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with 9-year-olds to 15-year-olds. I helped kids in my church also that struggled a lot in math but they began to improve their grade after I helped them tutor.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I helped my friend study for a very important test that was coming up and she got all the questions right and she was even able to answer the extra credit questions.
